Maya.net Europe eSIM, no coverage in Poland
I was traveling in Europe this summer (2023 August & September) and booked the maya.net eSIM Coverage. Unfortunately, I failed to notice that it does not cover Poland. So, this is a word of warning: Poland is currently not supported by the Europe eSIM.
I was also tricked by the map, leading me to believe that Poland is included. Other than this, I was very happy with Maya.net SIM cards in Europe.
Japan eSIM
I can not recommend the maya.net SIM card in Japan. The coverage for the Japan eSIM is provided by KDDI. This worked in Tokyo, once i reached Kyoto by Shinkansen i had no coverage in the train and also in general reception extremly bad. My experience was in March and April 2023. I switched to Holyfly eSIM which worked great for my Trip all over Japan.
Maya.net vs Holafly
The main benefit of Maya.net over Holafly is that tethering is enabled in most offerings. However, without connectivity, this advantage is nonexistent.
